So what can I say about WrestleMania? If you watched it on the network you know it was twisty turney. Watching it live was a very different experience, as the ring was so far away from us that we couldn’t hear much of anything. It was like we were all watching a silent movie and reacting to it. Despite the lack of audio, watching with so so so many die hard fans was awesome. I talked with so many really cool people from all over. The most memorable fan was this old lady with tattoos of the logo of each WrestleMania she has attended down her arm, with a fresh one for this year close to the wrist. Many of us commented that we are the only WWE fan in our workplaces or in groups of friends, so it was nice to let it out among others just like us. I also learned that others also use kayfabe language in normal conversation. Highlights: cosplayers that were staying in character, especially the Enzo Amore guy that was yelling how you doin’. Seeing WWE’S Number 1 fan (the guy in the white suit). Talking with HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN (I told him that my sister and I were fans as kids) watching NXT matches up close, freaking out when Shane jumped off the cage (Edith was clinching my arm during it), watching the stage crew set up the giant box of Booty O’s, sitting right by the Sports Center booth and seeing the Coach get all embarrassed when we chanted for him, Seeing Matt Bloom, RVD, Foley and X-Pac watching from backstage, the crazy loud pop when Stone Cold’s glass shattered (seriously, it was incredibly loud). The Rock, then singing “John Cena Suuucksss” when Cena arrived.
